Visiting Our New Braunfels Chiropractic Practice

chiropractor visit image

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand about us at Watson Lane Chiropractic and Wellness, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

First Visit

What a typical new patient can expect on their first visit is that they watch a comprehensive video on chiropractic so they can better understand what chiropractic is. They fill out all their forms, and we perform a complete neurological orthopedic examination. If x rays are needed, they are also taken. They do not need to bring anything special, but themselves. They should plan about 45 minutes of time the first visit.

Second Visit

The second visit requires comparing the results of the exam with the exam. A treatment plan is then designed specifically for the patients needs. The second visit should take also about 45 minutes.

Regular Visits

A typical office visit requires a mini re-exam each time to find out if their condition has improved from day to day. Dr. Vajdos will choose whether to perform just an adjustment, or also add flexion distraction, spinal decompression, ultrasound therapy, Spinalator table and or the Tens unit......Massage therapy could also be performed.

Dr. Vanessa Asks some important questions of interest to New Braunfels residents - Chiropractor New Braunfels Dr. Vanessa Asks...

Why are some people allergic to pollen and others aren't?
It's not the pollen. Chiropractors know that if it were, everyone would be allergic to pollen, nuts and pet dander. But that's not the case. It's the person, not the pollen! If you live in New Braunfels and your stress levels are high, then each year the grass, the trees or the weeds put your nervous system over the top. Many report that chiropractic care helps reduce the frequency and severity of their allergic response.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a New Braunfels parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
